This occurs when there is a rupture of the central slip of the extensor mechanism in the finger. It may result in a fixed flexion deformity which is an inability to fully straighten your finger, and puts you at risk of developing a deformity called a boutonniere.

This occurs when the joint in the finger is hyperextended (bent backwards) causing the volar plate ligament to tear. It's important that you seek treatment right away as Volar Plate Injury can cause significant mobility issues and require surgical intervention if not addressed in a timely manner.

Symptoms of a rotator cuff tear can vary depending on the type and extent of the injury. Pain is generally in the front or side of the shoulder and can radiate down the arm or into the neck.
