Practitioner of Hand Therapy – Occupational Therapist

Benjamin graduated from Curtin University (Perth, WA) in 2009 and has worked in many
fields of Occupational Therapy since. After having done a 6 month rotation in Hand Therapy
at St. Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, he continued his interest in Hand Therapy in London,
where he worked in Hand Therapy at the West Middlesex University Hospital and for the
Imperial College Trust (Charing Cross Hospital/St. Mary’s Hospital) for 2 years. During this
time he worked closely with specialist hand and wrist surgeons and provided consultation in
the surgeon’s clinics.

He has since returned to Melbourne and has been working at Action Rehab for over a year
now. He continues to specialist in the field of Hand Therapy having completed further
training in fracture management, shoulder management and dry needling. Benjamin has a
keen interest in music and treating music-related injuries and conditions. He enjoys working
with people and uses a holistic approach to facilitate the return to meaningful activities.
Benjamin enjoys playing music and taking photographs on the weekend. A great weekend
for him includes cooking, playing/listening to music and also taking photos of anything and
everything.
